Glossary

Red - The color red means to stop immediately. The color red is warning you of danger and that you should stop what you are doing right away.

Yellow - The color yellow means to slow down and be careful. The color yellow is warning you that there may be danger ahead.

Green - The color green means you can GO! The color green means everything is okay and you can keep going.

Look - Look both ways when you are crossing a street. You should look to your left, then to your right, and then to your left again to make sure there are no cars coming.

Hold Hands - Always hold the hand of an adult when crossing the street. They are there to make sure you do not get hurt.

Listen - Listen to the sounds around you. You may not be able to see a car coming around the corner but if you listen, you can probably hear it.

Stay Seated - Stay in your seat until the bus comes to a complete stop. The bus driver and monitor will let you know when you can get up. If you get up before the bus stops, you might fall and get hurt.
