Seven Ways To Build Your Self-Esteem


Everyday we endure the rigors of work, as well as other factors which may cause stress in our lives. From bosses and fellow co-workers to our own families and activities, stress can take its toll on the outlook we have on our own lives. Sometimes it makes us feel we aren't good enough to achieve our goals or that we may not be able to perform our daily jobs or functions. That's why self-esteem is so important for us. It controls the way we feel as well as our outlook and attitude on life. Try the following 7 ways to build healthy self-esteem on a daily basis and let us know how it worked for you:

1. Do something nice for someone else.

2. Do something nice for yourself.

3. Eat a low-fat diet.

4. Exercise daily (take walks).

5. Read words of inspiration from a favorite book.

6. Drink plenty of water each day.

7. Do something nice for someone else without telling him/her who did it (this helps humble ourselves).
