The National Transportation Center for People on the Move (NTCPM) was established through a grant from the Head Start Bureau. The grant included provisions for setting up a center to offer continuous technical assistance on transportation to Head Start agencies. Guided by a national board of people knowledgeable about transportation, the non-profit center will be able to offer help to individual Head Start agencies and other educational programs on issues affecting their transportation systems.
